Inspired Creativity is going to SL10B

Late on the night of May 24th, I received an email informing me that my exhibit design had been accepted for the Second Life Birthday Celebration (SL10B). We were very happy to have our exhibit proposal accepted and to be a part of such a great event. There is much work to do between now and them. The basic structure has been placed on the SL10B Magnificent sim.  There are still many textures to make, details to add and a script to write to make it all work. When it is finished, it will stand as a towering monument to the content creators and the foundations on which Sceond Life stands.

Resident Input Required

The exhibit is called Resident Input Required. Second Life was built upon the work of many residents. While Linden Lab supplies the infrastructure, it is the residents that make Second Life what it is. This exhibit shows how resident input is important to keeping Second Life vibrant.  At the base is a single button, when a resident pushes the button the whole exihbit lights up. If the button is not pushed for a certain period of time then the exhibit goes dark.

There will be muich more about our exhibit as SL10B draws closer, but now it is time to get back to work.
