In my last blog post in December, I talked about the challenge of being original. While I was working on things, trying to do something new and different, I suffered a major case of creativity block. I had ideas all competing to get out at once and I just could not figure out how to bring them to life. In Addition,. I was dealing with thing in my RL as well that needed my attention. So, I left SL before Christmas and only returned to being resident here (as opposed to just an occasional visitor) about 3 weeks ago.
Needless to say, the studio is gone, for now. I do have plans to rebuild it in a month or so. My project list has been pared way down so that I am only doing a couple of projects at a time. Most importantly, my creative juices are flowing again. I have submitted an application for an exhibit at SL11B (Second Life's 11th Birthday celebration). I have been working on the blueprints for a new studio and gallery.
The next few weeks promise to be quite busy. However, I do hope to have some things to add to this blog on a regular basis. I have one big project that has been sitting on the shelf for months. It is a project that has the potential for changing the way residents see things in SL. More on that in another post.
For now, it is just good to be back and creating in SL again.
